Samburu National Park
Samburu National Park is situated in the arid and rugged part of the country, North of Mt. Kenya and the Equator. The reserve is watered by river Ewaso Nyiro, which apart from supporting life, in this dry area, home to an impressive population of crocodiles,
usually seen sunning on the banks.
Along the riverbed, the rare Doum Palms dot the otherwise scrubby, dry landscape adding to the beauty of the scenery.
Samburu region is the best place to find the endemic Northern species, including the Gerenuk, Reticulated giraffe, Grevy`s zebra and Somali Ostrich dominating the plains.
Solio Reserve
This private owned protected Reserve is geared towards Rhino conservation. The Rhino being part of the big five, Solio reserve is recognized as one of the most successful Rhino breeding reserves in Kenya, the animals live in harmony with other wildlife including lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, zebra, and other plains game…
By the end of 2009, Kenya had 635 black rhinos and 353 white rhinos and two-thirds of that population is in Solio Reserve.
Aberdares National Park
Aberdares National park provides a habitat of elephants, black Rhinos Leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Columbus monkeys. Rare sightings include those of giant forest hog, Bongo, golden cat, serval cat, and the blue duiker.
Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterize this great park, bird viewing is rewarding with over 250 species.
The Aberdares are an isolated range of volcanic mountains forming the eastern wall of the Rift Valley. The topography is diverse, with deep ravines cutting through the forested eastern and western slopes.
ATTRACTIONS: Ol Doinyo Lesatima Peak, Kinangop Peak, Elephant Hill, Karuru Waterfalls, Chania and Magura falls, and the Queen’s Cave.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival and Transfer to Fairview Hotel Nairobi (Breakfast)
Day 2: Nairobi City Tour
Today will be spent with a memorable visit to the Elephant Sanctuary & Rescue
Centre. Or can we change to visit the Giraffe Centre? The afternoon is also spent at Karen Blixen (Out of Africa). Overnight at Fairview Hotel Nairobi (Breakfast)
Day 3: Samburu National Park
Leave Nairobi city for Samburu National Reserve. Drive through the Central Kenya highlands via the Equator arriving in Samburu early afternoon. Evening game-drive. Overnight at Samburu Game Lodge (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: Samburu National Park
Scheduled early morning and evening Games drive. Overnight at Samburu Game Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Aberdares National Park
After an early breakfast, leave Samburu National Park and drive to the Aberdares National Park. Evening games viewing at the conservancy and an optional walk with the Giraffes. Overnight at Aberdares Country Club. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6: Solio Reserve
This day will be spent at the famous Solio Reserve. Overnight at Aberdares Country Club or Rhino Watch Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7: Aberdares National Park
This day is spent on either relaxing at the Lodge, Day Hike in Aberdares Park, or Game Drive in the park. Overnight at Aberdares Country Club / The Ark Lodge / Reedbuck Fishing Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8: Hiking at Karuru Falls
Aberdares mountain ranges soar to the peaks of 4001m above sea level and also dig deep, V-shaped valleys with streams and rivers cascading over spectacular waterfalls including Kenya’s longest waterfall at 1000ft, Karuru falls.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast check-out and drive to Lake Naivasha. This freshwater lake is home to a variety of wildlife including 400 bird species. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride or a walk to Crescent island wildlife sanctuary. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Crater Lake Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 10: ElsaMere Conservation Trust
Once a holiday home and later retirement home for the Adamson’s, ElsaMere remains a unique destination. At ElsaMere re-kindle the memories of “Born Free” by watching the documentary, The Joy Adamson Story. Overnight at Elsamere (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 11: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Drive to Masai-Mara, the world’s famous game reserve. This spectacular game sanctuary is renowned for the `great wildebeest migration’. It is perhaps the only area remaining in the world to see the wildlife in the same super-abundance as existed years ago.
Arriving in time for lunch and relaxation, afterward evening game drive. Overnight at Ashnil Tented Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 12: Masai Mara
This day is spent exploring this expansive park. Whether is your first time of safari or a returning client Masai Mara will not disappoint. Overnight at Ashnil Tented Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 13: Masai Mara to Nairobi
This day you will check – out late and then drive leisurely back to Nairobi. Arriving in the early evening and check to the exclusively Famous Giraffe Manor Hotel. Overnight at Karen Blixen Cottages. (Breakfast)
Day 14: Karen Blixen Cottages
Afternoon Spent at Karen Blixen. Overnight at Karen Blixen Cottages. (Breakfast)
